EverKitten - Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
EverKitten is a platform that connects prospective kitten owners with verified breeders. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
2. Information We Collect
From buyers: your name and email address when you send an inquiry, save a search, or ask us to notify you about a kitten; basic usage data.
From breeders (during verification): cattery details, contact information, and verification materials that may include a video of your cattery, registry membership information, and a veterinary reference. Identity is verified by Stripe Identity, our third-party provider: your government ID is submitted directly to Stripe and is never received or stored by EverKitten. We receive only the verification outcome.
Automatically: standard technical data such as device and browser type and general location, used to operate and improve the platform.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate the platform and connect buyers with breeders;
- To verify breeders and issue trust badges;
- To send inquiries to breeders and send buyers the alerts they request;
- To improve and secure the service;
- To communicate with you about your account.
4. Government ID - Special Handling
Breeder government identification is never collected or stored by EverKitten. Identity verification is performed by Stripe Identity; the document is submitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's privacy terms. EverKitten receives only a verification reference and its outcome (verified / not verified).
5. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not process or store payment-card information (payments happen directly between buyers and breeders, off-platform).
- We do not publicly display a breeder's phone number unless the breeder chooses to enable text/call contact.
6. Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the platform - for example, delivering a buyer's inquiry to the relevant breeder - and with service providers who help us run EverKitten under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
7. Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may unsubscribe from alert emails at any time.
8. Children
EverKitten is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new date above.
