DMCA & Photo Copyright Policy
Our commitment
EverKitten exists partly to keep stolen and misleading photos out of the kitten marketplace. Every breeder agrees to post only their own photos and videos of the actual animals they offer. If you believe your copyrighted images have been used on EverKitten without permission, we want to know and we will act.
How to report a copyright violation
Send a notice to hello@everkitten.com that includes:
- Your name and contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed (for example, the original photo).
- The specific location on EverKitten where the infringing material appears (the listing or cattery URL).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by you, the copyright owner, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we will promptly review it and may remove the reported content and/or the listing while we investigate. Repeat infringers will have their catteries removed from EverKitten. Because misusing others' photos is also a violation of our Terms and undermines the trust the platform is built on, we treat these reports seriously and act quickly.
Counter-notice
A breeder who believes their content was removed in error may submit a counter-notice to the same address with an explanation and the same certifications described above.
